Welcome, Zburch! I hope you find the forums helpful. There are many experienced keepers and breeders here who have much helpful information, advice, and testimony to offer.
As to your question, here are some pictures of several different F. pardalis morphs: Adcham Furcifer Pardalis Morphs...
Mioke,
I don't know if your current cage design would allow for a modification like this, but check out what DJ did for drainage. I just can't get over how wonderful this idea is. Although I do wonder if the bowed bottom causes any problems with plant pots, etc.
Personally, I think the inconvenience would outweigh the aesthetic benefits, though it does sound like it would look very nice. Have you talked to any Europeans or others who may be experienced with implementing substrates? There is that drainage issue, especially with all the hydrating a...
Thank you both! I appreciate the helpful information and testimony. Trace, feel free to divulge more of your notes and observations if you find a place to start. :-) Luis, that data is perfect for my interest. Impressive work--thank you for conducting it.

Thanks, Motherload Chameleon.
Kevin, in case you're not familiar with this site: Adcham. I think you'll like it, and that link directs to nine Bradypodion species profiles. Welcome to the forums!

Welcome! I'm new to these forums, too. So far, they're proving to be a wealthy source of information; many members are very experienced, knowledgeable and helpful. There's a great deal of misinformation elsewhere, and this is a good place for dispelling it. I encourage you to sift...
Hello Canzoman,
Orange F. pardalis are found in several locales, not to mention what captive breeding methods can produce. In the market, I think morphs originating from Tamatave and Sambava exhibit dominant orange most commonly.

Perhaps it seems that most of the answer to my question is provided by the Necas data, but I'm interested to know whether keepers at the forum find it necessary or helpful to simulate the weather patterns. After searching the forums and combing the internet and literature, there doesn't seem to...
