hey all, this may be a bit of a daft question but ive searched the forum and other sources to no avail so 'll ask the experts ;)
the thing is that today while watching ninja feed i noticed that the 2 "panels" inbetween his casque ridges sort of sink in, in tandem with his jaw dropping to chomp...
its getting dark about 5pm now i just got home from work and he was asleep in his regular sleeping spot, hes awoke and is basking at the moment its now 6pm here.
his viv is vertically orientated, its 4foot high by 2 foot squared base? if thats what you mean by vertical?

Cage Type - plastic sides, mesh roof and front, 4 foot x 2 x 2
Lighting - MVB on from 7.15 am till, 7.45 pm
Temperature - 87 degree basking spot, high 60's-70 degree cage floor, lowest night temp is 60

digi thermometer with remote probe, shows a 5 degree f diffence to my 'clock style' thermo.

his cage is on a 2ft+ tall tv stand the top of his enclosure is over head hight, no real traffic apart from me after work and so on, his light is on a timer (7.15 am on, 7.45 off) he gets misted 2 - 3 times a day and his dripper is on...
why fill in the questionaire? Not meaning to sound rude but ive just told you all that info in the first post didnt i? the only bit i missed out on is his enclosure is in my bedroom so only traffic from me and thats minor after work.

ok here we go, past 2 days ive noticed my cham sitting in his basking spot, mouth gaping, for extended periods of time.
So i think overheating, but basking temp is staying around 84f, ambients are around 68. One other thing ive noticed is he doesnt budge from his bask spot, i thought panthers...
ace little guy! i did a thread in general photography last week with a few pics of my 7-8 month old blue diamond if you want something to compare him with :D
yeh hes still young yet! at the moment hes coming through with some great red speckles but they're kinda hard to make out on the pics. I cant wait to see him develop :D
im liking the feeback, ive been suspect that he wasnt a diamond but i just took the breeders word for it. Diamonds lack red colouration in the eye turrets right?
