Lol...:D... When Emoji gets really desperate for some free range time out of his cage, he clings to the screen on the door and waits for me to open it and climbs on my hand. He knows that I don't want him hurting his nails on the screen and that I will open it up.

I wouldn't boil it. :eek: I could only imagine what disaster that would create. I recently soaked mine in a bucket filled with hot water, vinegar, and antibacterial soap. I sponged it a bit with the mixture, but not too roughly. Rinsed thoroughly afterwards and washed off all traces of soap...

Please don't sell them to a pet store. I've seen far too many chameleons die at the hands of pet stores. :(

I do not have a Jackson's, and I know that their care is a bit different from Veileds, but my chameleon doesn't start to drink in front of me until 2 or 3 minutes into misting. I tend to like to give him 1 or 2 really longs mists to be sure he's drinking. You might want to increase the mist...
