Lol...:D... When Emoji gets really desperate for some free range time out of his cage, he clings to the screen on the door and waits for me to open it and climbs on my hand. He knows that I don't want him hurting his nails on the screen and that I will open it up.
I wouldn't boil it. I could only imagine what disaster that would create. I recently soaked mine in a bucket filled with hot water, vinegar, and antibacterial soap. I sponged it a bit with the mixture, but not too roughly. Rinsed thoroughly afterwards and washed off all traces of soap...
I do not have a Jackson's, and I know that their care is a bit different from Veileds, but my chameleon doesn't start to drink in front of me until 2 or 3 minutes into misting. I tend to like to give him 1 or 2 really longs mists to be sure he's drinking. You might want to increase the mist...

How often are you misting, and what are the humidity levels? Do his eyes look sunken?

I'm sorry if I'm a bit confused, but are you talking about the bump on the back of his foot? If so, then that is a tarsal spur, meaning that he is indeed a male. If not, please specify where exactly the bump is located and how large it is. Thanks.
Awesome! :) Camille was so beautiful! You've got to have personality to go after a hibiscus flower like that! Emoji loves his hibiscuses, but I've never seen him eat it yet. He's not really a veggie kind of guy.
I was just thinking about how unique each chameleon's personality is and how they are each amazing individuals. I though it would be fun to hear about everyone's cham quirks. What makes your cham unique? For example, a few of my chameleon, Emoji's, personality quirks are:

I feel that feeding every other day increases appetite on feeding days. If food is offered everyday, the chameleon is often naturally going to become picky since food is so often available. Also, keep offering a variety. You might want to try some silkworms, phoenix worms (my guy loves the...
