Personally I will not feed mealworms. They carry something in their shells that Superworms do not carry. If u feed too many mealworms you Cham can also get impaction.

I wouldn't use branches from outside to be honest :( it can have bacteria on it that wouldn't be good for a Cham. Unfortunately I get mine from Petco or try pet mountain.com! :-)
He really shouldn't be eating dirt. You may need to take the plant out of his cage and or put river rocks on top of the dirt so that he can't eat it. Please also fill out the "how to ask for help" form. Many members will suggest you take him to a vet as well
In my opinion: yes she will be fine if you take out one plant.
You could even out dowels and fake vines in the cage so that she has more places to crawl around on but she also more visible to you ☺️

At his age he should be on at least 1/2 inch crickets. I would try going up to this size and see how many he eats. Also you have to remember Chams do go through a "hibernation" in the winter time. They want to be warmer and they tend to eat less in the winter time
I would def. recommend more foliage and a 75 watt regular house bulb may work the best for you for heat. All of my males have 60 watt's above them but they also have their own special room. :\
I would love to meet more people from the Cham world! We live in Vancouver Washington. I welcome anyone to friend request me. :-) especially those close to where we live. It's a big world out there. Wouldn't it be nice to have some friends close to home? :-)
The only "true" purple barred Chams are amabato's from what everyone has said. Yes females can have some purple in their coloration. No it does not mean she will produce purple colored male offspring. Just like in breeding dogs you can only get certain colors out of certain types. What most...
No one is perfect. That's a fact. But when it comes to chameleon husbandry I would def. listen to a person who has had a successful chameleon buiness for years or a site sponsor for sure! Just sayin. Those are the people I have learned everything from. :)
People may claim "purple barred" but in actuality it's a half blue barred half red barred Cham. I have never truly seen a chameleon that's purple barred unless it was an ambato. Your little guy is cute though! :) he may get some red rain in his blue bars. My guy Poseidon has that :)
I just keep my Cham room warm. The whole house is set at 70 degrees and the Chams room can get up to 80+ of course there's a window and I can always turn off the Chams light bulbs. I've had a breeding colony for almost a year lol
