    Gutloading Crickets

Hey guys, sorry I’ve been posting so much. I’ve been wondering what products I could gutload my crickets with. I keep my crickets outside in a 20 gallon tank. Whenever I put leafy greens or any normal gutloading food in their cage, lots of ants get in their enclosure. But, with the store diet...

Do you guys think I should add anything else to my chams cage?

lol I have one on the porch for him. It was basically dying so I just put it outside. It’s starting to grow back so I’ll put it back in when it’s better. Here’s a picture of it. I also have a Philodendron I might add in as well. More plants, the better!

    Spyro being cute ♥️

Pictures of Spyro being cute. Pictures are also on my media album. Also, Spyro doesn’t even want to/ try to run away from me when I stick the camera near him. As you can tell in one of the pictures, he’s on the top of the air plant and he just let me take a picture of him that close. The air...

Is my UVB or basking light too close?

Yeah, the uvb is now 8-9 inches away. So is his basking light. I have 2 branches under the UVB and two under the basking light.

Is my UVB or basking light too close?

Guys, today I found spyros old thermometer. Under his basking lamp it was around 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Is that too much or do I need to lower it..?

Okay, I decided not to go with it because I wouldn’t want to take a risk.

I need to know about it…

So I was thinking of adding a thick stick in the corner of Spyro’s cage. I was wondering if one of these plant supports could work I’ll attach photos. This is his cage so far, if I was going to add one, where should I?

    New Keeper with Questions

Hi, I don’t know if I am the type of expert or person to answer these things, but yeah. I’ve been trying to hand feed my Cham and these are some tips for hand feeding. He’s starting to warm up and take food while I’m looking at him. I’m not sure if they’re included in the guide somebody sent...

Is my UVB or basking light too close?

I know this seems kinda Uhmm… but I don’t have a thermometer. I don’t really want to share this personal stuff online, but I’m not the one buying everything so. You can sort of guess what it is. If it makes sense. But no, he was only gaping that one time under his basking light. I’ve never...

Is my UVB or basking light too close?

I’m not sure how I would be able to make the basking light and UVB together. But I think before the basking light may have been too close because I used a tape measure and it was like 9 inches away from the branch. I also live in a state where it’s hot and humid, so I didn’t want it too close. I...

Is my UVB or basking light too close?

This is Spyro my 10-12 month old Male veiled chameleon. Around a week ago, I saw him gaping underneath his basking light. I for some reason immediately panicked and moved it down more. His basking light is 75w. Now, I’m most concerned with the UVB lamp being too close. I placed one fake...

Any help to hand feed my chameleon?

Hi everybody, this is kinda late but, today, Spyro took silkworms out of my hands while I was looking at him directly! I’m really happy because at first he was too scared to even see my body if I hand fed him. I’ve also been trying out a feeder cup ( a McDonald’s drink cup ) and he’s also been...
