I have a question- with the sponsors, if you win, do you then choose a sponsor? Or do you choose it before you submit your photo? I’m just a little confused.
You could possibly try hand feeding / cup feeding. It may or may not work. He still may need some time to adjust. You can try again, though. It’s good that he doesn’t puff or get defensive. Unlike someone….😐. Although, that may change as he gets older. Around the 8 month mark, they become super...
Yeah, probably the log would work. Just depends on if he feels comfortable or safe behind it.
About only having him for about less than a month, here’s a little “ test “ I guess to see if he’s ready to be hand fed:
1. When you come by his cage, does he puff up or hiss at you? Or does he...
Also, something that I did that earned Spyros trust fast was kinda easy. Not sure if it’ll work the same for your Cham, or take as short of time as it did for Spyro, but I did a few things:
1. If they don’t trust you much, wait until they’re behind a plant with lots of leaves and their entire...
Hello there :) kinda late but I have a question about your Cham:
What type of UVB light does she have?
Also, you may want to add a few more branches- if you haven’t already.
Also, based on the picture you showed, your UVB light is not under your branches. You want to move it directly under...
lol that’s what I was gonna say. Didn’t look like a pothos at all. Leaves looked different and the vine / stem looked different. I also don’t really think pothos would grow like that. They usually spike up then grow some vines. ( at least from my experience with pothos ).
You’re welcome lol. Thats what I tried to do but I just gave up because the piece of wire I had wasn’t big enough lol. It’s a good way to attach stuff tho
From what I can’t tell in the picture you sent of your cage, you could probably attach it to your cage in two ways:
A. You can use whatever you use to attach your branches, vines, etc and wrap it around the plant pot and attach it to the branch in the middle of where your cages connect.
Or...
Yes! Pothos are great for chams. Also, don’t be surprised if he starts nibbling the leaves. Pothos are nontoxic for chameleons and can grow vines which you can wrap around branches ( like I do ).
And good misting and fogging systems. I have an automatic mister but sometimes hand mist.
also...
What calcium do you use? Do you remember if it was Reptisun 5.0 or 10.0?
I would add more branches near the top if you can. Aswell as a plant near the middle section where the glass tank and the screen tank connect.
Also, are you misting his cage or are you only using a fogger?
Also, this...
Not really sure lol. I was just looking at cresties. Then I just thought “ wouldn’t it be cool to have a chameleon ?” And yeah.
Also, what type of cage do you have for your cham? What lighting? What’s his/ her diet?
Sorry, i just wanna make sure you’re taking good care of your Cham lol. I...
Hey, now, I don’t know very much about crested geckos since I don’t own one- but I’ve read a few things:
For lighting and stuff, low UVB can also be beneficial. As well as low basking. I found this page on Reddit if you would like to look at it. Not sure if the link will send you to the page...
I use Repti-Calcium without d3 every feeding. As well as Reptivite once a month or every 2 weeks ( like others have stated ). The only difference between Repashy and Repti-Calcium is 2 things:
1. Repti-Calcium you can typically get at a store like Petco or Petsmart. Repashy is usually harder to...
Well guys, today I went to a special reptile store. Not like Petco or Petsmart. Not gonna say the name of the store because I don’t want people to track where I live or something lol.
Also got some silkworms there.
I got the flukers one because it felt a little squishy and comfortable. It’s...
Oh, I’m still sorta concerned because well there’s 2 reasons:
1. All the hornworms I have are tomato hornworms I think and have red horns. That’s why I’m kinda concerned when they have black feet instead of green/white.
2. The hornworms came in a different container ( with barely or no...
