I have 3 kids, yes it is that easy. I would make sure you have the supplements down for a gravid female as egg development takes a good amount of resources from female. I would also make sure you research how much to feed her to make sure she does't develop a 100 eggs. Don't be afraid to ask...
Its always a possibility that the vet does not know reptiles. I can say that is looks like more is wrong than just not being fed enough. I would document this like @Nursemaia said.
She does not look good at all. I doesn't look like she has eaten in a while, she looks dehydrated, and im sure she is developing MBD. What did the vet say?
When he sucks it in is get getting taller. Mine will suck it in like that to flatten himself making him look bigger from the side. Mine will also open his mouth when I get to close without hissing, he is making him self ready to bite.

To help with humidity I would get a good amount of live plants and get a cool mist humidifier. I got one at walmart for about 30 dollars and it will last just over 24 hours on full blast.
