Is it just me or does it seem like there has been a small surge in the presence of these guys in captivity in Canada and Germany? Now we just need to get some sent this way.

I keep both sizes together in the same bin. The difference between regulars and giants isn't very serious. Both are tiny roaches. Giants are maybe 50% bigger at best. Much smaller than my Surinam roaches even.

Nooooo I can't do that! My whole free range is full of real plants and trees. It would twist a knife in my side to see a fake tree in the middle of the real ones. Call it OCD or I don't know what but it's not an option for me lol

Keep in mind too, there are few commercially produced cages that an adult parsons can live comfortably in and to my knowledge there is not a commercially produced cage large enough for melleri.

I don't think verrucosus get particularly large. Not like oustaleti or melleri at least. I think they're very comparable to panthers in size as well as care.

I know I am! I get very hesitant when I read about a species really needing to see regular drops into the 60s though. I'll never be able to provide that.
