Thank you!
Sherbert was a Sambava Panther chameleon, from Ready’s Rainforest. They are amazing breeders and I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a panther 🙂 here is my favorite picture of him! He had the most beautiful oranges and pinks!
Arnold on the other hand, is from Petco so I’ve...
What do you do when you’re bored on a Wednesday? Take an old pair of jeans, a model, and design dragon clothes! Arnold loves the vest like clothes, so we’re making a knight outfit 😎
Sorry about that!
Beman is super experienced and knows a lot more than I do, I thought I saw a few threads that said they start laying at 4-5 months 🤷♀️
They can start laying as early as 4 months, so making sure you have the right supplies now can help when she has eggs. I’m pretty sure a 50% sand and 50% soil (safe for chams) is the mixture you need, but some other members will correct me if I’m wrong 🙂
Okay, so it looks like Beman is right. Males have a bulge right after the vent, this little cham only has the vent, if you can see in this picture. You have a beautiful female cham! while they require a few more things to help them thrive and don't get as colorful as the boys, they can have...
The wind has died down and we haven't had any fires near us for ten hours, hoping it stays that way. I’m going to be fixing the fence this evening, along with the chicken run, but thankfully that’s the only thing that was damaged. Arnold’s pop out fence, basking light and supplements all fit...
The wind has gone down a little and no active fires near us for now. I still have all the stuff I need together just in case, but two big dogs and no fence makes a loud house lol. This boy was shaking when we got home, and hasn’t left our side since.
Thank you all!
So far nothing else has spread near, but I've got all the essentials ready to go. The power went out and the room Arnold is in is quite dark, I think im just going to let him sleep for now. I'll keep yall updated!
So, there are some CRAZY winds and fire threats here where I live, the fence already caught on fire, thankfully it’s put out now. But I’m 99% sure we will have to evacuate sometime today or tomorrow. Is there anything I should do for Arnold? I don’t want him to be stressed but with nine chicks...
I'll start cleaning them right away and keep them distant from my other plants. Thanks!
Yep! It's helped my umbrella plants and fittonias so much! I plan to propagate the monstera once it's back to being better. I noticed the pests when repoting, after letting it get used to the temperature and...
I got a monstera at a expo yesterday, seemed great until this morning... I found these brown spots on it, anyone know if it's spider mites, or something else?? I see no movement on leaves or stem, but im pretty sure something is going on.
All the little chicks are back to normal! They got to play outside for a bit, as the weather has been great recently! Arnold got a play pit thing for Christmas, so he enjoyed the outdoors for a little as well!
