So today and on alot of days, he will climb around but then at some points (which to me seems like to much) he jist clings to one branch and turns really light green and just sits there for hrs, he wont eat anything from his free range feeder, i dont want him eating from free ranging in his...

I wish my jacksons chameleon was like that, mine hates me and will not let me hold him, idk how ill ever get him out of there for cleaning and things because he refuses to let me even reach out for him to grab my hand...i guess ill never experience holding this one
I have to mist at night, my house humidity is only about 45 and they cannot go below 50, so theres that. My mist king goes off during the day for 3 minutes every two hrs until night time then it goes off for 2 minutes every 3 hrs....this is helping keep the humidity around the range i have it...
I actually just set up my most king to go off every 3 hrs day and night to help keep up humidity, i have corplastic sign board on the two side and the back affixed with dict tape, once the most king goes off it is maintaining humidity fairly well now, but it is short lived...in between the 3 hrs...
Im just curious what some of you people do to keep up the humidity in your screen cages without them instantly dropping back down? Would to know if anyone has figured this out without substrate
So its been 3 days since i got my jacksons. He will not eat his food from the free range feeder i put up or a cup feeder. Now when i come around he opens his mouth when i walk toward the cage....he wont eat anything and id this keeps up he isnt gonna make it, idk what else to do
My jacksons chameleon hasn't eaten in 2 days now, i leave them in his feeder and i leave all day and theyre there when i get home...i was told to free range but i can't free range because the dubias will burrow and he won't find them if they burrow right? Idk what to do
This is my first cham and i am understanding that they need everything to be just right so i understand the frustration when it isnt, my head has been swelling the past few days because of things not being just how i want them for him. Best of luck to you my friend
I use a zoo med repti fogger attached to a hygrotherm to make sure that the humidity constantly stays around 77, then a repti rain mister that goes off every 3 hrs for 45 seconds, that ensures that he is getting his water (about to upgrade to a mistking which i would recommend if you have the...
Update on my jacksons, he tried eating his feeders out of the container on the side that i have them in. The problem is that when he was trying he was seeing them from the bottom of the feeder so when he would attack his tongue would just hit the bottom of the feeder and he wouldn't get...
Lol nice star wars references, at least im in good company. I dont try to handle him, i know they arent typically those types of creatures. I'll try giving him more time and just counting the crickets to see how many he has eaten... thanks for the help everyone
So my chameleon that i got two days ago absolutely will not let me come around to do anything... if he notices me even just come in to watch and see what he is doing he completely stops and stares at me, i cant even make sure he is eating because he stops trying to if i enter the room, when i...
Temperature and humidity is good, tempo in the basking is about 80 to 82 and then temp below is 70, humidity i have fluctuating at 77 with misting every 3 hrs, i have had this prepared for a while, he just came in yesterday morning, he ate 3 crickets and has eaten nothing else all day today
Well i cant exactly rotate feeders right now, crickets are the only thing i have, im waiting on dubias, ive tried the higher up feeder on the side, he didnt pay that any attention whatsoever
