    Dubia roaches in Florida?

KLowery88 hit it on the head. They aren't considered "wildlife" so they aren't regulated by the FWC, they are "agricultural pests" and as such they are regulated by the Florida department of agriculture.

    Dubia roaches in Florida?

I don't know where the statute is, but looks like they are serious about it in Florida. I would say it's safe to just go with discoids and not worry about trying to get dubia if in Florida http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/303035

    Not done shedding?

When it gets stuck on legs/extremities it can create a restriction in blood flow if it is a tight ring all the way around said leg or extremity. Pics would definitely help anyone reading give you any opinions or pointers :)

    New yemen cage

I would be afraid his casque would get caught in the bars of a bird cage  Not to mention not being able to free range any feeders for him. Maybe some type of mesh to line the cage might be a good idea? :)

    Aromatic mister machine

I also have a dripper running from lights on to lights off that he is very much aware of so he always has a nice glistening drop of water on his favorite drinking leaves :D

    Aromatic mister machine

I'm in Ohio and it's pretty dry here in the winter too :/ I leave my thermostat at 67 because I don't care for the heat too much so my heater doesn't dry my inside air too awfully much but there is definitely a decrease in humidity when it kicks on. I have the mister nozzles kinda pointed...

    Aromatic mister machine

And I have that same mister for the time being and I have mine set for every 2 hours to go off for around 20 seconds and that keeps the humidity perfect in my guys viv on most days :)

    Aromatic mister machine

That question with the info provided is impossible to give you even a close to accurate guess. It's not only dependent on the humidity in the room, but also the brand of mister, the amount of plants in the viv, the size of the plants, the amount/type of medium the plants are in, the type of...

    crickets--wax worms

Waxworms are pretty high in fat, I avoid them altogether and definitely wouldn't use them as a regular feeder.

how to get him to let me mist

I keep my automatic misting systems reservoir heated with a heat pad and my manual misting bottle I keep warm by keeping it close to the heat lamp on top of the cage. Mine doesn't mind the misting as much when the water is closer to their current temp, even a few degrees can make a significant...

    Am I Doing This Right??

Waxworms are about as nutritious as crickets, but they have about 3 times the amount of fat :/ I would go with silkworms like alpha said, or hornworms, phoenix worms, or butter worms.

    Am I Doing This Right??

90 is a bit high for ambient temp, it should be more around 70-80 with a basking spot of around 90. So I would say it's likely safe to get rid of that 24 hour heat source. This is assuming that the cage is in your home and night time temps dont drop below 60 in your home or around the cage. As...

    Am I Doing This Right??

What are your daytime/night time temps and humidity? Chameleons don't recognize a "no light" heat source so I would do away with that all together. They also require a night time drop in temperature, so unless your ambient temps get below 60 at night then there is no need for a night time heat...

@MSMorgan What brand and wattage is the heater? And what size is your reservoir?! :D This will save me from having to experiment to find the best combination!

    Water...

You can also look up your cities water quality report :) Back when I used to run a hydroponic garden, I tested my tap water with a TDS meter and it was over 500ppm. So I stopped using tap water for anything at all lol.

    Water...

I've been thinking of adding a very small aquarium heater to the reservoir to bring the temp up more to around 80. I just haven't gotten around to experimenting yet :) And my buddy definitely doesn't dislike the misting as much as he did before.

    Water...

I heat my automatic mister water reservoir with a reptile heating pad :) It only heats it to about 71-73 degrees, but that's gotta feel better than 67 :o
