    Veiled Cham paralyzed??

Hey guys! Sorry for lack of updates! Pascal is doing amazing! He is a little trooper! He is showing signs that he wants to climb. Right now I have him in my aquarium since it's smaller than his 3x3, with a wire top for air flow (not negligence) with also a few sticks at the bottom, and he will...

    Veiled Cham paralyzed??

He is doing better! He tries to move his back legs a little bit now. He still eats the worms and the doctor put a splint on his front left leg because it was broken. I told the vet euthanasia was the very last resort I would take if he had a fighting chance of getting better, and he told me to...

    Veiled Cham paralyzed??

I live in between Mansfield and Midlothian TX. I don't know of a reptile rescue, or of a good vet for that matter. All I know about them is I took my 8 year old dog there before he died and they wanted $600 for euthanasia.. And a college student doesn't have that kind of money!

    Veiled Cham paralyzed??

Yes, I've put crickets and meal worms in there for him. He has eaten a couple, but not much. As for water, I mist him and around him every hour, but whenever I put his drip next to him, he moves away, and I don't want him to hurt himself worse, so I took it away.

    Veiled Cham paralyzed??

It's not his actual cage, it's what I put him in to feed him because the crickets crawl out of his real cage because the wires are to broad for them to stay in there. I just said that. His real cage is a 3x3x3.

    Veiled Cham paralyzed??

How would you contact my parents? That's not what you were trying to do, you were trying to make me look like I don't care about my chameleon. If that were true, would I be on this website broadcasting my "neglect"?

    Veiled Cham paralyzed??

@djfishygillz, I'm 20 years old. I had my chameleon Pascal in an old hermit crab cage (with a top) to feed him, since the crickets can come out of his cage through the screen. My cat loves to watch the crickets in there jumping around and he has never shown attention to Pascal, so I let him...

    Veiled Cham paralyzed??

The vets here don't really know anything about chameleons, I've called. And don't really have the money to take him anywhere else. He is eating crickets as we speak, and if I were to take him to the vet, what would they do to him?

    Veiled Cham paralyzed??

I have rubbed his legs to see if he will move them, but he won't.. They are as cold as ice. The skin color underneath them is a pale grey, usually a pale green. He's been like this for almost a day.

    Veiled Cham paralyzed??

Last night, my cat broke into my cham's cage and carried him all the way down stairs and was playing with him on the floor like a toy! I got my Cham up and put him under his lamp, misted him a little and he opened his eyes and started to move. Right now, he is moving, but just dragging his back...

    Color Change?

Hey guys! I have a 3-4 month old Veiled Cham. I was just wondering when I should expect to see color changes in "Pascal". I've had him 2 weeks and he just had his first (with me) shed a few days ago. Thanks, Gentry.
