Well i have had this guy for about 2 weeks now and he is amazing. I received him from Nic at Chameleon Kingdom and i cant say anything but awesome! He knows his chameleons very well and was nothing but honest and informative with me. Always is great to meet somebody who runs a great business...
Well this has been an ongoing battle at my house this summer and it is driving me nuts! Here in San Diego we have the perfect weather to brew the largest colonies of black ants possible. About a week ago i made the mistake of taking my cricket bin outside on my porch to let it air out. I left...

Yes that branch is not going to give your cham eye issues. Make sure you keep him well and misted and offer food. Give him a good couple week to settle in. Looks like your going to have a blast with him. Your mom will end up loving that little fellow.

If they are going to be close they should have a divider between the cages. Allows for less stress on the animals. Even a pillow case or a piece of fabric will work. Good luck with your new ones. Let us know how everything goes.
breeze i would take brad up on his offer and i am sure he will be more then willing to fill you and your mom with some chameleon wisdom while there! Maybe then your mom will be more willing to accept a calyptratus. WC animals are usually not a good del for the first timer, usually ends up...
it is a very common reaction for chameleons to do this. Their edgyness seems to settle down as they age, or for some will always be that way. Its natural for them to be iffy about you its instinct, They are used to watching out for big hairy things in the wild that want to eat them.;)
