    HELP!

First, check and see what kind of plants they are. That is important. Can you post a few pictures of the chameleons, the plants, and the temporary enclosure setup? The calcium D3 should only be used every few feedings, maybe twice a month. Other than that it should be the standard D3-free...

    Picking Out Hold Backs

From what I've seen, this looks to be a female. It does not have the characteristic hemipenal bulge.

    Feeding Schedules

It would be beneficial if you filled out this form real quick: Chameleon Info: Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care? Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the...

    Red light for basking?

Yeah, when I had the red bulbs they would last maybe a month or two before they burnt out.

    Red light for basking?

I am told that incandescent lights are better, so I made the switch. But I don't think a chameleon's life is long enough for it to do any long-term damage either way, unless an owner makes the mistake of having to small of a distance between basking bulb and basking spot.

    Panther chameleons eye sight

Well, I would suggest getting a proper veterinarian diagnosis. As for the part where you said he mistakes your fingers for worms . . . my cham does the same thing. Anything that moves, especially the tongs, she will run after with her tongue cocked. Maybe fill this out so we can get more...

    Is This Gravidity?

I make sure to keep a close eye on her. In other news, I saw some blue coloring on her casque today so perhaps she is finally maturing, since I have never seen blue on her before. No sign of it today, but hopefully it shows up again. Thanks for all of the help, it eased my stress a bit. If I...

    Is This Gravidity?

Do you think that could potentially shorten her lifespan? I never know what to expect with her but I make sure she has all of her needs met. A few weeks after I bought her, she wasn't drinking from the mist and she was severely dehydrated. I knew for sure she was going to die before morning one...

    Is This Gravidity?

Oh my apologies, I didn't see that previous post. Her cage just has sticks and stuck on the bottom, and it is hard to get a laybin down there. Even if I could put one in there wide enough, the depth wouldn't be enough. I have a pothos hanging that reaches a few inches above the bottom. That is...

    Is This Gravidity?

No one can figure it out. I mean, I have asked before. But she randomly just changed colors permanently and I don't know if she is just finally maturing, or it's something more worrisome. I just thought that combined with her new colors it could be eggs. Why do you think she wanders around? I...

    Is This Gravidity?

Anyone? Just trying to keep the thread alive at this point . . .

    uvb/uva light

UVB bulbs are crucial. That is one of their main sources of calcium and vitamin D3.

    Is This Gravidity?

Also, she NEVER wants to sleep. I turn her lights off around 6 or 7, and then it takes her literally an hour of wandering the cage to find a spot. I know this means she wants to lay eggs, but she has been doing this for over a year and no sign of eggs. She will go to the bottom of the cage and...

How often should I feed my chameleon Dubia Roaches?

It depends on his age and the size of the roaches. They should be as long as his head is wide.

    Is This Gravidity?

Edit: I bought her from *ugh* Petco on In February 2, 2016 so she should be sexually mature, but she doesn't really show mature colors. I think there were some health complications from Petco. I will always regret that. She just grew a whole lot so her growth was definitely delayed. At her one...
