I don't usually leave the house for long periods, but if I am going to a dinner or something I will turn her lights off an hour early or so. But now I won't have that problem since I have the timer running, which I am so glad I found! :)

When I am home I can put out a fire or turn the lights off if something gets melted. If there is no one there, a fire could break out and nobody would notice until smoke started coming out of the windows. I know it's silly but I am just wired to be overly safe I guess. I feel so much better...
