Well, you wouldnt have gotten "him" from a different place, being that he was already in Petco. But I know what you mean, Purchasing from a breeder is the way to go.
The pump produces a fine mist throughout the cage. Some of the mist builds up on top of cage which causes rain droplets as well. A fountain pump wouldn't have enough pressure for the nozzle to produce a fine mist. Also the pump is only $19.99. I rather get the proper part then to try and go...
Home Depot for $9.99 & a backup on Ebay for $3.49. I wanted to make the adjustment right away and didnt want to wait for the ebay one to arrive so I got one at Home Depot. Thats why I have 2..
Because the pump is to strong for just 1 nozzle. With the Tee/Valve I have a line going back into the bucket/reservoir and with the valve I can control the pressure/flow that will be going through the lines. Works like a charm!
Its working perfectly! No issues! The climist nozzle sucked! Clogged within a day so I purchased a Mistking Nozzle and its working beautifully! It mists 5 times a day. Only mists the area I want to get leaving his basking and cup feeder dry. I love it! My cham climbs to to the top for drops...
I would recomend that as well. (Remove) I think I mentioned in one of your other posts how to much coverage will cause your cham to do exactly what youv mentioned. No need for all that. Just a few spots and branches/levels to thermo regulate.
