i was trying to take a picture so i could show you guys, but she is not allowing me to at the moment. it is not swollen, it honestly just looks normal but instead of a toenail it’s just a little stub. no swollen and seems to be no irritation.
will they grow back? here is her enclosure: yes i know her hammocks are not good for her, and i am planning to take them out this weekend, just haven’t gotten time. im also getting real plants within the next few days
my 5 month old veiled chameleon lost three toenails (two on one back foot, and one on the other back foot). i’m not sure on how long they’ve been missing for, i just realized while handling her today. it is starting to make it hard to climb her screen. any ideas?? they don’t look like they got...
I just want to state that you are a very good chameleon parent. You are taking everyone's advice, and later on going to have a great home for your little chameleon. I was sure he was a girl at first glance, but if he has spurs then that indicates a male.

i try to keep it very humid at night, since i stopped using the heat lamp at night it’s been staying better. any other ideas or recommendations on how to hole humidity throughout the night, or just in general?
just a quick question, do veiled chameleons need a heat lamp on at night? i’ve been using it at night, but i’ve been reading that there should be a drop in temperature. i just don’t want to turn it off, if it’s not good for her.
