Mods may want to consider a sticky of references if it doesn't already exist as this seems to come up daily and is very important
p.s.Merry Christmas everyone!
Awesome Julle, hoping to catch up with your collection over here! Just a start. You're our inspiration.
One question for you. S. African habitats appear relatively dry compared to other chams. What are you average humidity levels and do you try to force "seasons" for breeding?

Laurie,
I think it is VERY important for the Brady keepers to document exact husbandry to best correct this issue. I know it is a pain, but can you give us a rundown. Cage, lighting type, mist times, feeders, gutload, and supplement schedule. If those who are successful are watching, I hope they...
In no way was I intending to question Laurie as a keeper. It's just that different feeders carry unique nutritional challenges. With fruit flies and bean beetles, Calcium is always a major problem. You could have raised many larger species on a different feeder system and had no problems at all...
Agreed, I just don't keep the entire insect world for feeders. Too much work!
Has anyone ever tried liquid Calcium in mist water for sick chams? This just occured to me as a possible treatment. It would allow more dilute supplementation and reduce risk of alkalii toxicity/burn from straight...
I have done this. It works great. Crix don't eat it in my experience. You can spraypaint it easily (without the cham inside ) tip is to use the most minimal amnt possible as it grows about 6times the size you spray. Can also mist with water to get to harden faster.
You are correct Julie. Over or under supplementing can be bad. Due to smaller size, I would be careful w liquid calcium. If she's not immediately falling apart, can probably just dust feeders with calcium every feeding and try to feed small amnts multiple times per day as the dust comes off if...
Laurie,
It seems the thread has wondered a bit. What is your feeding and supplement regimen? Sounds suspicious for Calcium deficiency. It can be hard to get adequate gutload calcium in smaller feeders. Do you dust them as well? Agree it is very important to share as much info as possible as I...
