    Fat Veileds?

I did drop the vines down a few inches. They now clear the top. I have not weighed them. I've only done a visual inspection. They are both exceedingly anti social.

Is my new Panther a male or female?

This is the latest photo of the MBD patient. His tail is still dark from the recent blood draw. His latest Xray shows an increase in bone density. But I'll need to continue his oral Calcium medication for at least another month. He is on his way to a long and healthy life.

    Fat Veileds?

Neither of them has had a single Hornworm since the diet started. This is a new photo of one. The other spent all morning hanging out in a bush. But he is almost identical. I've noticed that the legs are thinner and the ankles more refined. They seem to already look healthier

    Petsmart crickets suck

Funny I went in for 40 medium crickets and got at least 300 of them.

    Fat Veileds?

These guys are paper thin when viewed from above but still have fat casques. I'm assuming that casque fat takes longer to burn off? I've upped the food intake to 3 large dusted, well fed crickets every other day. Plus one SUPERWORM every Saturday. My baby Panther (the one with MBD) Still gets an...

    Fat Veileds?

So, it's been about 3 weeks since my Veileds went on their diet. Actually a new lifestyle. The basques are still fat. Not the KANKLE situation seems gone. And I can now see ribs. They now eat 3 or 4 staple food items every 2 days with most weekends skipped. This includes 1 superworm each per...

Is my new Panther a male or female?

His name is now officially "number three". He is continuing to improve. He's sturdier and more active. No longer wobbly and he's taking his calcium drops well. I've been giving him more D3 dusting than I normally would too. However, he still has tongue issues. He'd rather stick half his body...

Where to put my Pothos plant

Cut a pvc pipe or a wooden dowel and place it across the top of the cage from frame to frame. Then attach a peice of mechanics wire to the pipe. Through a tiny hole in the screen and twist a loop in the end to attach the hanging Pothos

Catching Wild Invasive Veiled Chameleons in Florida

I did nab a big Panther a couple of years ago in a neighborhood in Hillsboro beach. But the big population seems to be Veileds down in south Miami. I saw a fellow on FACEBOOK selling a night time "Chameleon hunting" service where you can go out hunting with him. There is a hotspot off of Krome...

    Fat Veileds?

Those are 40 watt You can lay your hand right on the screen and it doesn't get too uncomfortable. Both of them have a scuffed up casque due to me not readjusting the branches and now they're some are too high up. They get drug across the screen top. They're very large. Especially the older one.
