We've had one female Ambilobe, Sarabi, lay 52 but with ~10 or so initially infertile. Makes me wonder a lot of things about large clutches taking a more significant toll on the females. Like how many clutches on average does the given female panther have during her life...
Yes, from what I understand they favor the White Mulberry or Morus Alba, though they will eat the others. On a precautionary note, the leaves should be obtained from a pesticide free area.
That is a funny story! I've done my share of hunting down Mulberry trees ;) which can be frustrating since it is classified as an invasive tree here in FL....
