Seems like my Jackson enjoys eating plants a lot. He eats insects too but I see a lot of leaves in his enclosure with bite marks. Any suggestions to get him eating more insects?
My veiled rarely if every ate in front of me. She always did it while I was a good distance away. If I snuck up on her I could catch her eating but for the most part she didn't want to eat when I could see her. Maybe some sort of instinct to avoid predation in the wild?
What I did for my cage was I went to lowes and bought a Blackhawk plastic shelves
They are about 35 dollars
Srill holes in the bottom of cage and placed a bucket underneath the cage. The shelves have openings that will allow the water to go to the bucket
So I went out of town this weekend for a day. I left Saturday morning after feeding my chams and just got back at noon. I usually feed them around 6-6:30 each day, so a noon feeding isn't normal. My one cham seems to be a little upset with me today as she was a darker green and hiding more...
Calcium without D3 every feeding
15 crickets a day but they are 1/4 inch and she getting to where she can eat 1/2 inch. I have a laying area in her cage that has 8-9 inches deep of dirt and plan on adding more
Plus room for an additional bin if needed.
She only 3-3.5 months so I didn't...
Yes about 3 hours into bed time. I increased her misting to 1 min every 1.5 hours.
I was thinking maybe she needed a longer misting with the biggwr cage but she seems active and better already this morning
Thank you chase
