Well as of today, 3 eggs are slitting from the vermiculite group. Also the eggs are bigger. Hatchrite I only got 1 egg that is slitting. Hatchrite vs Vermiculite... I vote vermiculite for now...

Congrats to Chaka and Zulu my ambilobe pairs! These eggs were laid Aug 5th 2009 A little over 8 months!! Here are some pictures I took moments ago, I will just have to wait til tomorrow morning and hope that some of them emerge out of the eggs. enjoy. The middle egg is HUGE...

Thanks for the comments! Its a burmese black mountain (Manouria emys phayrei). There was a website stating that they make fine pen mates with red and yellow feeted tortoise. Do you have any tortoise yourself??

Wanted to share some pictures of my reptile collection, again. My new interest..... I love turtles!! My geek-o:eek: Tortoises Chaka-RB ambilobe Makaveli (brutus's bro) Brutus-

I have 4 aquatic turtles in the living room along with 2 dogs. For the downstairs/garage I have 18 or 19 chameleons, a 60 gallon reef tank, 4 leopard geckos, 4 white tree frogs, all the bugs(crickets,worms,roaches,and flies.) In my room I have 3 tortoises and 1 anonymous pet.

on the same boat.... mine is from 8-5-09. some of the eggs are huge tho.. 16 eggs in this clutch(ambilobe).
