What is the natural size/range of chameleon territory in the wild?

mine has traveled several blocks before being found. I think he stopped because the area was familiar to him(my son's school). Wether it is true or not, but I think he wanted to come home to his comfy house after 12 days and went where he was known and knew he would be found :) Thats my...

Please don't give up hope. Krash escaped twice, once for 9 days, the other for 12 days. he crossed roads, cars, birds, cats, dogs and was found both times, several blocks from my home, in great shape. The second time it was the middle of winter, for us it's not bad, but it was in the 50's at...

    Veiled Chameleon Baby Lighting Help!!

Hi!, thank you for taking the time to research before your chammie comes, that always makes everyone here smile :) First, can you return your red light? You won't ever use it, so save your money. Stay with the 5.0 on the UV light, the 10's are a little strong for a baby if it is directly on...

    cage help

hi!, first..have you washed the plant, really well with soapy water? a couple of times? It needs to have the pesticide residue removed. Then, I usually repot it in clean soil, I prefer to not use organic, because you will have to deal with gnats, and they are a pain :) Just clean soil, from a...

Rescue ~6 month old veiled with MBD, need advice.

Can he use his lower jaw? Have you attempted a worm yet? He will try to just pick it up with his mouth(not tongue) and realize he can consume food this way. Putting it in your hand, just below and behind his snout so he can register it with his eyesight. If he can't use his jaw imo his MBD...

Rescue ~6 month old veiled with MBD, need advice.

I know he can't use his tongue, but can he "scoop" up worms from your hand? I have a Cham that received a tongue injury and can't use it at the moment. But will scoop up any feeders, even crickets from a cup. Silk, horns and butters along with the phoenix worms would be a great addition. Can...
