What can I use to prop the light up without it melting something

Like this

I was looking at the 40 W bulbs and the 60 W ones look like a normal bulb but when you get to the 40 W bulbs they look kind of like a tube. Is that ok to use or do I stick with the actual bulb?

Like switching it to the 40 W bulb or to the other one you suggested earlier?

I also have a 40W incandescent light bulb. Do you think that would work better than the one I am using right now?

I do have an 8.5” zilla fixture so that should do the trick
