Try reptiworm, the wiggle so much. If they dont move 90 mphs my little guy isnt interested lol He wont touch a silkwrom just because of how slow they move.
Reptiworms, silk worms, horn worms, they just have to be right size. Good rule of thumb is to measure the length between his eyes, you dont want to feed anything over that width. I order my bugs from lindasgonebuggie.com. I also order some from lllreptile.com!
Taking her out to bask is up to you, as long as she has a bask spot in her cage so she doesnt get to cold , then basking would be a treat. I take mine out late afternoon when it isnt so hot. What about opening your palm and holding really still. Or taking the worm and sorta of dangle it and...
the best way to get them to trust you more is through hand feeding, and reward them for coming out on your hand, like taking them outside to enjoy the sunlight and such

Yes younger chameleons need to eat daily, until they get older then you feed every other day.
Colors mean different things, you should see the chameleon...
Just remember , Wax worms are high in fat so you dont want to make them a "staple feeder" but they will taste nice to your chams, and they will love you more!
I do a little of both, my little man loves to hand feed. So I hand feed him a couple of his feeders, and let the rest free range in his cage, and I monitor it making sure he doesn't have any left by bed time
Funny story about that, he wasnt interested in them all that much, he ate one and didnt touch the other one. Honestly variety is key, I wouldnt just feed crickets , same with silkies. I would say feed a few silks may 2-3 times a week, they are very good feeders. It's like the basic food groups...
I get mine from lindasgonebuggie.com, or you can check the sponsor list on here.
For gutloading, Ive been using cricket crack, with a veggies in the crate as well.
Such as carrots, collard greens and such. You can do a google search for gutloads and learn lots! GutLoading is very important!!

These are a few of my favorite things
Merlin has been super friendly and has been hand feeding since day one!
One of my favorite traits on him is his "Heart" This was one of the main reasons I picked this little guy out! Also, he has been showing more blue when he gets out of his cage:D...
Lol that's why I asked because I thought it sounded weird , I figured that a chameleon could easily chew them up. I was just making sure, I think that you are suppose to poke a hole just incase your cham doesn't chew well, so that way its ensured for better digestion
