I agree with what @MissSkittles said….it is not something you should be pulling on and it needs to be kept moist with something like KY jelly until you can get to a good chameleon vet asap!

I had a panther chameleon with cancer in the eyeball. He had it (the whole eyeball) removed and lived another year or so. He was over 5 when the cancer was discovered and I wondered if I should have the surgery done or not…but I decided to and was so I was glad I had the surgery done.
