i believe they are super worms. Alot of pet stores for some reason cant be bothered with calling a super worm a super worm and instead call them meal-worms or "Giant meal worms" witch it says on the lid.
Btw Welcome to the forums!!! You have wonderful chams!
thanks laurie. I noticed alot of Nosy Be's are more of a light turquoise color. But charlie is a bit darker most of the time. Id really like to know who the breeder of him was so i can see the father haha
well i got my female at 4 months, and they usually stay a solid green till about 6 months, but when my girlfriend got her male at 2 months he had some patterns here and there but other times he was solid green. I think it just all depends on the cham and when it matures more and grows.
hmm well, i think i might just build her an enclosure. It will probably be cheaper than buying one. I just wasnt sure how large she would get as the panther i just had was very small in size for a panther who was a year and a half old.
well i read in your last post in another threat to make her whole bottom a laying bin, but since its a screen cage that would be next to impossible with there only being abou6 6 inches underneath the door :\
soryr lol its 24 inches tall, 24 inches side to side, and 12 front to back. I know its shorter but in the 16x16 i dont have room for a plant and a laying bin. the laying bin would have to be very small :/. the only reason i ask is due to the face that i dont exactally have 120 bucks to dish out...
So i have two questions about female veileds. How big to they grow? Are they like panthers and will stay moderatly smaller than a male veiled?
My second question is can i keep her in a 24(h)x24(L)x12(w)? I have her in a 16x16x30 at the moment but i dont have any room at all for a laying bin...
Is it mandatory to replace them every 6 months or can they last longer? I know its best to replace them at 6 months but do they completely stop working at that time? or can i go a little longer and then replace it.
ya, i took 2 other stems from the same plant and put them over 2 other pets and they have been doing great ever since. There is lots of shade during the day and just the right amount of sun in the morning
Well guys ever since i returned i have been very busy and patches was sitting in the freezer for a week. I fell bad even though she has past. So today i finally put her into the soil of my garden where the sun shines bright every morning. Shes under a peice of shefflera she had in her terrarium...
