Nutrient enriched crickets - try Vitabugs!

Existing feeder insect choices do not provide complete nutrition for captive insect eaters, as a result, dusting or gut-loading is necessary. Even when used properly, many existing commercial gut-loading products and dusts do not provide appropriate nutrition. * After years of research and...

    Scared of my face!

You're the size of godzilla compared to the little guy! Understandable that the face, with a mouth big enough to eat him, would be intimidating. Just be patient, let him get used to you and grow, and over time he will be less frightened of you. :) Just takes time. -Jen

    Rebel not eating

Try backing off and give him a bit of space, and check that the basking site is high enough. Doublecheck the usual stuff as well - how old is the UVB light, has anything major changed near his cage lately (new dog, kids coming over after school, anything like that?), things like that. Can...

    First Chameleon

When she gets older, the sky is the limit on cage size. As big as you can give her - that's the maximum cage size. :) A regular deep dome and/or multiple basking zones work for larger cages. You don't necessarily need to heat the whole cage a bunch, but make sure that her basking spot is...

    Couple of problems with plants

I have never had a problem with plants dying from scale etc, but then, that's because I only use the plants we carry. ;) How are you keeping the plants? Maybe you're overwatering/too dark/ etc more so than there's a real issue with the plants from a particular location? -Jen

    What do you gutload with?

We use the dubia chow, total bites, Fluker's orange cubes, and fluker's dry cricket diet as well. You can still gutload super worms, and in fact, I'd suggest it. They are just a giant string of gut - a perfect candidate to fill up their gut with healthy, nutritious gutload :) -Jen

    Veiled/Yemen retained sperm clutches

Usually it's the health of the female that can cause weaker babies, not so much retained sperm from the male. As long as the female is healthy and in good condition, definitely incubate the eggs and see how they do :) -Jen
