Hey everyone, I was just wondering what size crickets a 4 month old veiled can eat? I went to the store today and got 150 medium crickets and 50 large crickets. I didn't realize the large crickets would be full grown with wings lol. Will it be okay to feed the big ones to my cham? I cup feed him...

Nah it actually goes the opposite direction throughout the house so i think he'll be fine :D

I burn incense and occasionally cigs in my apartment with my chams cage ~10 feet away and he seems fine.. I hope they don't affect him :eek:

I also had a very young cham that did the same thing and almost died. You need to get a UVB bulb asap and make sure he can easily get 6-12inches away from the uvb. He needs the uvb to digest his food to get energy. Without the uvb he has no food/energy in order to move around and act normal...

Is there any white crust on his nostrils? My cham sometimes takes a deep breath and breathes out his nose really hard and the crusts fly off lol. But yeah snoring definitely isn't normal :(

Yeah try to make sure your cham can sit right under the uvb. If they don't have the uvb they wont digest as quick so they wont be as hungry. When I got my baby cham I made the mistake of having his uvb like a 1-1 1/2 feet from his closest vine.. so essentially the first week I had him he was...

He's too hot. Opening his mouth is kind of like a dog panting. Lower your temps a little bit or make more of a heat gradient throughout the cage.

And do you guys see how his back ankles are a little lumpy? is it okay for them to look like that? loool
