Most of my pictures of Daffie are still on my camera, so I will have to export them to my main device. This is something I would be happy to take part of!!! 🤩
OMG YES!!!! Idk what it is with the money tree and the pothos!!! Daffie always knows when it's time for a field trip to her money tree and she does a happy dance!!!
This is sooo true and funny!!! All of my chameleons LOVE hiding in the pothos!! I just love seeing your chameleon poke his little head out of the pothos 🤪
I bought my first chameleon, Yoshi from a Reptile Expo. He was a rescue, blind in one eye, and we think he passed due to a parasite he got when he was still with the breeder. Unfortunately, some breeders don't take very good care of their chameleons, but hopefully your breeder took better care...
I totally agree with this. In the first few pictures, It looks like he was shedding/about to shed. This picture here looks like his right back leg has MBD:
Amazing picture!!! He's like: "Oh.. you're getting closer to me... AHHH WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO COME ON ME?????? GET AWAY YOU SILKWORM!!!" Yoshi used to do this with the Hornworms, they used to crawl all over him because he didn't want to eat them 🤣🤣🤣 It is hilarious what our chams do sometimes...
Since she is a female, they tend to be on the smaller side. You can also tell their age by the size of their cask, and it looks to me that she is almost full grown/already full grown.
You should DEFINITELY house the two chameleons separately. Sometimes, breeders might house a couple of chameleons together for a reptile show, but that does not mean that they are usually housed together. If you are trying to breed your chammies, you should still have separate cages. Great question!
I know!! That's the problem I was having when looking for Daffie! People like to breed Panthers because they're worth more, but almost nobody breeds Veilds because they're not worth that much :(
Gotcha. I never even knew that follow-up clutches could still have fertile eggs! Idk where I'm going to re-home my chameleon babies (after they're born) if they're fertile!! At least I can post about them on Chameleon Forums if anyone is interested in Veiled babies!!
