    Clingy??

That is unusual for a veiled. Usually the only thing they want with us is food. Often when a chameleon (especially veileds) is wanting to come out to and on us, they are not happy with their enclosures for whatever reason…too small, not enough plants or branches, wrong uvb, wrong temps or...

    Mistking Lacking Power

This is a totally bizarre mystery that the same thing has happened even with a new system. One more suggestion - try reaching out to Mist King and see if they know what is going on. https://mistking.eu/ My single experience with them is that they were pretty prompt in a reply.

    Sick dying chameleon help

Looking again at your pic, I initially misidentified the orientation of it. The black is the enclosure bottom and the poos there do not look very healthy, even taking into account the water from misting. Then the cricket down there, live or dead makes for an unhealthy environment. Also, is it...

    Sick dying chameleon help

Omg! What has happened to him? Poor guy. He’s severely dehydrated and starved. If he’s to have any chance, it’s with immediate vet care. He may be too far gone though, in which case a euthanasia would be most humane.

I adore my beautiful brightly colored panthers and big handsome male veiled, but there’s just something special about the spicy green veiled girls that has it’s very own spot in my heart. 💗

    New Cage is Here!!!

Yay! Rango must be so much happier now! 🤗 I know you just got it all together, but I still want to add some tips. If you are up for the extra work, you can easily add some garden trellis to the inside which you can hang branches, vines and even plants from. I find it easiest to do these things...

HELP?!!! IS HE OKAY? Do I need to bring him to the vet?

Just icky guts. I do want to give a word of advice/caution about putting hornworms on a branch and other things. They have very sticky feet and a very strong grip. If they have a good grip on something, your chameleon’s tongue might not be strong enough to pull it off and in return, its tongue...

    Male or female

As @GrannyK has said, that is a lot of eggs and puts excess strain on her little body and its resources. Now that she’s lain her first clutch, you want to feed and hydrate her well for a couple of days. Hornworms and silkworms are great for after laying. Then you want to start her on her new...

    Forum communities lately…

I much prefer the more positive reasons for slow downs…that more people are learning on their own and providing great care to their chameleons. I don’t have a problem repeating the same info over and over, as long as it’s to different people. When every now and then someone comes along who just...

Need help with lighting change. Cham is stressed and I am stuck.

She’s beautiful! Has she been restless? Frequently roaming all thru her enclosure, up and down and all around? They usually do that when receptive - all dressed up and looking for a mate. If you haven’t yet seen my blog, here it is...
