All my females but one loved me to death, and they will let you know when It's time to go into the laying bin.

I prefer to wait until the 5 or 6 month mark before going into such a large cage. But that is mostly because I don't cup feed.
If you do cup feed, I see no reason not to transfer him now.

While I would love a photo to see if she is gravid, if she is near the bottom of the cage alot, and seems hyper, then a laying bin is in order.
It's normal for a gravid female to stop eatting when ready to lay eggs.
