I have the 4" right now. I didn't wanna use flex tape. Surprisingly it's working just fine. I think that the cooler is so well insulated it doesn't matter what I use. It's been hold steady better then I imagined. :D

Mine isn't the STC 1000. It already came in Fahrenheit. It's almost the same but the programming is a little different. That's how it came out of the box. I also have a STC 1000 spare.

It's a pretty cheap control. I think I paid 15 bucks for it shipped. I'm not sure which control it is. It's pretty easy to use. It's been pretty dam accurate so far. I think it was off 1 deg when I got it but your able to calibrate it. Which leaves it dead on. Hope that helps. :)

Installed the flex watt tape and pre-wired for the light. Now time for a test run.

The red light is so I know the driver is working. The button is for the light once I get it. All wired up. :D
