Well Eisentrauti, most sellers ive noticed sell them as "Rudis" and even list the wrong scientific name. The only correct breeders ive seen that correctly list their scientific name are FL Chams. Which is Sternfeldi as you stated. But as of the pics. definitly a flap neck. without a doubt. Rudis...

Scroll down to the bottom left and look at the chameleon on the yellow string. a Red rudis according to herper Nick Mole. Thats one badass looking color! :D
Brye. I wish!!!!!!!! But I have no camera phone. But for sure. I should have some pics up arond their 2-3 month of age and before you purchase some ill try to borrow a friends camera to let you see what your getting before you buy.:)
ive sent chris a PM awhile back. But no response. He doesnt like me too much lol based on past threads. But oh well. I really have no grudges towards anyone but I really want to aquire some of these guys.
GRREATTT Brye! You know it. Being the first babies ive dealt with, their have top notch care as I will continue to do in my future. I feed em pin heads daily and fruit flies once a week as a treat:)
red rudis?
especcially the yellow lookin ones. The only people I can think that would have them on this forum are Trace or Chris Anderson. Anyone??help.
T.Sternfeldi(Rudis) dont get really get too big in size, 5-7 inches at the most. But screen is always better. The glass in there is reflective and will stress out most Chameleons. Especially males for the most part. Exo terra has some screen cages that I like and use as well for my collection.
Okay. Thanks.
And I offered both fruit flies and pin heads. Only two of em looked at the food but the others didnt seem to care. Are they like still feeding on their membrane or whatever they were bron with/in???
Alright Brye. Sounds great. I heard there was more Chameleons there than ever. But im getting some Fruit Flies today for the first time. It may be a bit confusing and difficult to keep these FF's but im giving it a shot since a pet store down here is outta pin heads.
Wish me luck!
Okay awesome.
Tomorrow im headin out for some pinheads.
How do I make sure they all feed though. Theirs 15 of the little guys. I have a feeling their may be some overpowering.
and I hope this doesnt sound dumb but..is it possible if two babies shoot for the same object their tongues can get...
Does anyone know if pinheads are good to start the little guys on? catching ffruit flies seems far to difficult and no pet stores arounnd me sell em:/
so does anyone know if pin heads will do the job?
thankssss!!!
Thanks Trace! It was so unexpected because she was still eating like a horse days before. Well, the little guys are truly a blessing and have made me feel very successful. Hopefully some sales will come along with the little guys.
Cheers!
Okay. how long will it be before they start eating? I tossed a pin head in there and no responses really lol. I heard you feed em 3-6 days after their born???
