Had to euthanize my buddy tonight... :'(

I am really sorry to hear of your loss. It sounds like a terrible accident. But, thank you for posting, I don't think I would have thought of something like that. I don't have rats, but if I ever decided to free range a cham, and had a rodent/mammal in the future, I am glad to have this...

*** Post Sleeping Pictures *** Continued

5 month old panther. Sorry the photo isn't the best. I didn't want to open his cage and bother him while he was sleeping though. He always turns white/yellow when he's sleeping.

    Who hand sprays???

I hand mist, I have a habba mister, and I have a homemade dripper. It's really dry here right now... I have to try pretty hard to keep the humidity up. I really want to get one of those motomister things though cos it gets so tiring using the one I have. It was meant for misting bonsai trees...

    Sydney updates

He's a panther chameleon, half ambanja, half ambilobe. I think one of those is a blue bar, and one a red bar, but I can't remember which. And thank you :)

    Sydney updates

So, I've had him for a few weeks now, and I can already see him growing :) I see hints of colors sometimes too, there are some really pretty bright blues and greens sometimes, and sometimes reds. He's gone through one shed, and has been eating and drinking really well. He even tolerates...

I've noticed my guy yawning in the morning, it's adorable :o Also, he opens his mouth really big, like a yawn, when he's shedding and trying to get skin off.

    Clothing color and chameleon reactions?

Oh this is not good news... I change my hair color every couple weeks. It's pink and purple right now. Also, I always wear bright, colorful clothes. I probably look like a big scary bird or something! :/ I haven't noticed him reacting to any specific colors yet. He just seems to dislike...

    Sydney is finally here!

So, my baby chameleon finally arrived today :) His name is Sydney, he's a morph panther (half ambanja, half ambilobe). Hatched 10/10/10. He is so tiny and adorable! :D I snapped a couple photos of him, but I'm trying not to bother him too much.
