I'm putting my 3-7 month old veiled girl in a 24"x24"x48" ReptiBreeze in 4 days (Christmas gift from dad I'm not supposed to know about) and yeah, feed a few extra, just in case they get away from him. Then he can hunt them more at a random time. Or you could train him to go to one part of the...
I would buy one but
A) I'm broke
B) I would have to wait 3 months
C) I would be scorned for it by the community here
D) I'm new to chameleons
E) I don't have a cage....
My female veiled, not sure of the age, also does that occasionally. About every day for an hour or so, depending. She does it towards the top of her cage so it's probably due to the basking bulb.
I will. Wish I didn't know about it, I'm not a very good actor and don't want to sound like I don't appreciate it. I just hope he doesn't say its from Santa.
Fisr enough. And yeah I try to. Oh btw my dad apparently bought me the ReptiBreeze xl for Christmas. I saw it in his garage. Not really supposed to know that, but yay!
Yeah well. It wasn't my idea. As was everything else for the past month, the 500 crickets were her idea. Also if you could kindly stop pretending you have any idea about what I can do and take care of, that would be wonderful. Obviously she has 4 legs by the way. Thanks for satisfying my worries...
Fair enough. And you weren't really being a dick, atleast not from my perception. I've heard it before. That orange was for 30 crickets, and only 17 remain.
(As its been pointed out, I seem to have inherited this from her.) I was actually going to get a Rudis chameleon (trioceros sternfeldi) and was completely surprised with Chiche. But hey, what can ya do? Can't exactly give her back now. Also, if I were to get another it would be a small one, such...
Veileds are considered the novice species here. I would reccomend getting a male, as I have a female and am already overwhelmed. You might get a 24"x24"x48" ReptiBreeze mesh cage and an automatic mister so you don't have to worry about that as much. A dripper might be used in addition. As...
Also I was worried that the browned scales/spikes on the top of her spine were something bad, but Sheac's Cham has the same thing. So either I'm good or we're both wrong...personally I'm pretty sure I'm good.
