Since my Panther Chameleon Jefe was taken to a vet and said to be healthy, I need help. I tried wax worms, butterworms, superworms, dubia roaches, and crickets. None of these appeal to him anymore. This has been going on for weeks. I am not sure if he is bored or what. His setup is fine so don't...
So I am not sure what is up. H ate a 3 crickets a few days ago and 1 super worm not too long ago. I just don't understand why he won't eat like other chameleons.
I gut-load with carrots. I have tried dubia roaches crickets, superworms, waxworms, butterworms, and he doesn't really eat much of any of them. When he eats it is maybe 1 superworm every other day.
I actually don't use vitamins. He has been fine as long as I have had him until a few weeks ago. I got him back in early November. I feed the bugs carrots.
BTW I live in Kentucky and its rather dry this time of year. Misting does nothing to the humidity so I am considering putting Plexiglas on all the sides but the bottom vent and the top screen in order to have airflow.
My Chameleon Jefe wont eat for some reason
He is about 6 or 7 months old.
His cage is a 24x24x48 screen cage.
I have two natural ion bulbs and one reptisun 5.0 that covers one end of the cage and an exo terra equivalent that shines on the otherside.
He has a 100w bulb in a 106 degree heat...
So I am wondering If I should get 2 reptisun 5.0 compact bulbs to put in the exo terra medium compact topso that his UVB reaches both ends of his 24x24x48 enclosure.
