    Recommended Lighting?

I think the mega ray is a little intense for chameleons unless you have the "low" power variation. There also seems to be consistency issues with MV bulbs. Most people stick with florescent.

Need help; Taking over care of a 3yr old Veiled

How old is your new guy? I had my 5 week old in a 18*18*24 and he was fine. At four-ish months I switched him to a tall cage, I thin he could of stayed in the small cage for a few more months but I needed to return my zoo med cage before anymore rust came! Didn't even make it a month!

    Easiest DIY Enclosure EVER!!

i made one as a full time cage for my cham, it didnt end up working out for him as a baby(little crickets fit through the mesh) but for adults its very usable! 1/4in hardware mesh looks pretty good. i cut a wood circle out of 1/2in plywood and screwed the bottom mesh around it, and used 2-1/2x1...

    better safe then sorry questions.

I have given him d3 once but regular calcium daily on the crickets. I usually buy in 4 dozen at a time, and put a carrot with the second ones, I'm still trying to figure out a system for gutloading that will be more n beneficial. I think I'm going to start giving him some guyloaded super worms...
