I had to wake up a somewhat large sub-adult male veiled chameleon 2hrs after his lights went out so he could be transportated to his new home..... Yeah that wasn't fun.... I wonder if my wife still has the video she recorded where she's laughing her ass off at me while I'm cussing and dodging...
IMHO no. Not with veileds. If you were going to breed than yeah maybe. You're not guaranteed to get a veiled who's yellow of you go with that "bloodline" either. The only reason bloodlines matter with panthers is to keep what is known as a "pure locale" keeping Ambilobes breeding with Ambilobes...
He should be able to take down a superworm no problem. Just remember that Superworms are high in fat and high in ciatin. However they have a lower ciatin to body mass than say a mealworm. Supers should never be refrigerated like meal worms can. Supers should be fed as treats. When mine were that...
The ones they sell at hobby lobby should be 3ft exactly. Which leaves you a foot. I would not go to the top. There really isn't any reason for this either.
They stand alone. I bought the dowels at hobby lobby.

Hornworms are great for getting your animal to defecate in my experience. They're large packets of water and they seem to help loosen the bowls. You'll want to try and find one that isn't to big for him though. Rule of thumb is no wider then the width of the chameleons eyes. I'd recommend...
Incorrect. The bulge can be used to sex many species. Exception mainly being the Mellers Chameleon. Veileds can be sexed by the hemipenal bulge its just way easier to look for the tarsal spurs.
