What do you do with the males that you take out to keep an even ratio? The adults seems way too big to feed to my chams. Sorry if I'm asking dumb questions, I'm new to having the colony and I want to keep them the best I can. Thanks for all the help
i may just have to sell my colony or give it away, not sure yet. roaches just dont seem to be my thing. I got the colony when i picked up my most recent chameleon and he likes them but my other panther wont touch them, also i dont know much about roaches. I'll see how it works out
I noticed these two things when I was getting roaches out of my colony. One picture attached looks like maybe the female is laying an egg like thing almost. The other I noticed down at the bottom of the bin I'm not sure what it is.
i think ill try those times that you mentioned. I'm going to be hooking the mistking up to another cage too that does not have a drainage system so I'll have to add that to my other panthers. thanks for the help
I have a mistking and it goes off about 6 times a day at different amount of times ranging from 30 seconds to 1:30. The humidity has been dropping recently and i was wondering, what time intervals works best for you to keep humidity up while also making sure you chameleon gets enough water to...
The title says it all. I tried to feed Skittles who is about 1 year old a few roaches and they weren't that big, but Skittles wasn't taking it. He basically ran away from my hand and back into his cage and tried to hide. He has never acted like that before and I don't think there was anything...

if that is your only option i suppose then thats what you have to do. how big is her cage? I would try to take the cage with me or bring her over to a family's or friends house that wont have to be evacuated. also for a dipper just take a plastic container and poke a hole in the bottom, that's...
once again sorry for asking so many questions about roaches i just want to make sure I'm feeding these guys the best i can. Will "Flukers high calcium cricket diet" and "Flukers cricket quencher calcium fortified" be good for them? thank you all for the help!
HI, sorry that I am posting so much I just picked up another chameleon and have had some questions. So anyways i got a dubia roach colony with the cham and i don't have any experience with roaches. I saw that they like cricket crack so i gave them some of that and it got devoured! The previous...
