No problem! Hmm he looks normal as far as his positioning is (as far as I know). But the wheezing/hissing has me worried. Try to be patient and take care of him as normal for now and hopefully someone more experienced will come along soon!
Can't tell much from that photo. It IS okay to use a flash to take a photo if you need to but let's see what others say with the information you've provided first.
The sounds he's making, is it like a "wheezing" sound? Does it basically sound like he is sick?
I'm going to take a back seat...
OK unless there's light shining on him throughout the night, I'd say we can rule that out.
If you can take any pics of him while he's "sleeping" that might be very helpful. If he's sick, he may be in a position that will give this away. A quick search on here took me to past instances where...
Is there any way you could record this? I can hear Spike hissing at me at times if I interact with him but I have to be paying attention. If he's hissing loud enough at night with all the lights off loudly enough for you to hear him all the time, I am curious.
If he isn't going to...
Not sure if this is a simple stretch or a "get the heck away from me" :ROFLMAO: but it's probably the latter. My family is home for Spring break....clearly infringing on Spikes usual daytime privacy.
I was in the doghouse last night but all has been forgiven. Gave Spike a few extra crickets since I didn't feed him yesterday, and we're now back on good terms 😂😂
How long has it been since you've replaced your UVB light? I wonder if his behavior (digging) ties into him wanting to get out of his environment. And if so, something may be off that you're not catching. Are you measuring UVB with the correct meter?
I would double check that your UVB...
Showing up with no grasshoppers!? How DARE you!? 😂😂
Side note: do you mind telling me where you get your grasshoppers from? And maybe a quick rundown of how you keep them? (food/hydration)
I'm so sorry :( I know you have a big heart full of love for your pets. I'm really sorry to hear this. She was beautiful! And I know you gave her a great home.
