Your selective reading is lovely.
Take care of those poor geckos. Spend your money on medical care for them. They sound like they need it. Again, it's abuse.
Perhaps you should use your saved up Christmas/birthday money to properly care for the health issues that your geckos VERY CLEARLY have instead of purchasing a new animal.
Not taking care of their issues is animal abuse. Plain and simple. So good job.
Hi guys!
I thought I'd share a few photos. Wheatley, my veiled is about 10 months old now. He's a sweet boy from Chameleons Galore.
Irwin is new to my house and I just adore him, he's a 6 month old ambilobe. Quite the personality this guy has, and the sweetest face! He is also from Chameleons...
You might be just enough to push me back away from this forum. Watching members refusing to properly care for their sick and dying animals made me take a good year of a break.
You have been given SO MUCH advice and you are still just "considering" it instead of taking it as fact. There was a...
These really aren't "crazy" prices, these are standard prices. If you want a healthy and quality animal, standard priced ones are the way to go. These breeders work hard and spend money raising them, calling them "crazy" when they aren't is a bit insulting.
If you would like advice (which you have been given and ignored, just FYI), storming in and insulting the best base of knowledge out there is not the way to get it. You catch more bees with honey has some meaning to it.
Good luck to you.
P.S. I have my glasses on.
Welcome to the forum!
Yes, you should remove them if he doesn't eat them, especially before lights out. The crickets can (and often will) bite him as he sleeps.
Sorry to hear about your cham :(
Unfortunately there is a whole lot wrong here and I fear your cham may be in poor condition.
Handling: You are handling WAY too much - just because he goes green doesn't mean he loves it. This could be causing him stress.
Feeding: Fluckers orange cubes...
I wouldn't do it either, birds are a natural predator to them. It would be like living your life in a room with a guy sitting on the other side with a loaded gun pointed at you the whole time - he might not shoot you, but it's still pretty darn stressful.
