You know. Having just gone trough this whole thing myself for the first time there's one thing I learned: Take her to a vet to see how far along she is. You'll be guessing the whole time and it could be weeks to months. Unless she looks like she's ready to blow (and you have a lot of experience)...
It could be she's scratching to get out and when he's around she doesn't because she's sh**t*ng herself in fear. The point is you don't know what they'e going through and it's best to listen to the pros.
I haven't heard of "washed dirt", I have heard of washed sand, as in play sand washed well. I tried plain sand and my veiled wanted to eat it all. So on a suggestion from a member here I mixed organic soil with play sand and that solved the problem. You may want to try that, you don't have to...
Awesome story. Definitely post a finished picture! I would have never thought of posting a found poster for a dead pet though. I don't why. Maybe I would if it where rare. I will now. ;)

Make sure your Cham has the right amount of heat at his/her basking site. Otherwise it could be parasites if I'm not mistaken.
Make sure all these are met...
Question, are you guys reading your chams body temp? That's what Ive been going by lately. I also have one of those digital Zoo Med ones placed about where she basks and it usually reads lower than pointing the gun at my cham. Like about 78-81, sometimes lower. The gun always gives me a reading...
Lisa has good reason to say what she said. What, did everyone forget already?
