I am just going.to.remove the wood floor and coat the bottom in plastic wrap. Fill with dirt plant my plants and top with large rocks.. This should work right?
Yea that's what I was thinking. I'm trying to come up with dimensions for a custom bottom that slopes on all sides and drains in the middle. Make it with wood and plastic sheeting.

Kinda depends on the feeder. Crickets I pinch between 2 fingers come in slowly from below and a a little away so he/she sees it. Then get within range and stay still. The cricket and cham do the rest. Dubias and other slower bugs I just put in my Palm and let them move around until the came gets...
Thanks for the advice everyone! Hades is eating, drinking, deficating, and moving all over the cage. I will continue to keep the cage covered for a while and slowly introduce myself to him more and more.

The cover idea was a good one. He has moved around now. I peeked threw little hole in the sheet. His Color's have lightened up. I will keep him covered up as much as possible. Only problem is the Temp rose to 100 basking and 72 ambient. I'm not to worried about the 72 but the 100 worries me

Here are pics of my cage and the cham. He just sits there all day. The feeder cup you see have crickets in it all the time and I have a bunch just roaming the cage.
