I've seen videos of the mistking in action and it is more quiet than the cheaper pumps. I'm really not willing to spend close to $100 on a pump though. I'd probably buy a mistking pump before one of those. That being said, this cheap one will work until it doesn't.
Wow, that sounds exactly like mine, which means mine is technically working (as long as I don't use the ball valve). I just didn't realize it would be that darn loud. Wish Panthro had mentioned that because I'm afraid it's going to be too loud. We live in a 1=bedroom apartment in LA so there's...
No, I have prime. I just thought they made you pay the cost to send it back. I guess i’d just have to buy a box and that’s no big deal.
I’m surprised this isn’t working if it worked fine for Panthro. To be honest I thought his simple setup was perfect. I didn’t need anything fancier but I do...
I'm still in the time frame where I could return it. I'd just be out the shipping and cost to buy a box.
I still have the first pump too because I couldn't return it. Here's the info on that one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J6694R2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Oh okay. I'm a bit confused as this is different pump than what was originally described by
Panthro413.
I mean I could buy ANOTHER one, but this would be my third pump at this point haha. Also the way you have yours connected is completely different than what was demonstrated by Panthro413. For...
If I leave the ball valve shut off completely so that it functions, though with a tick, eventually the tubing shoots out. I'm sure I could glue it to get a better hold, but I'm not sure if that sound is safe or normal. In fact it may frighten my chameleon.
Hi guys,
sorry for the long delay between responses. I have so many projects going on at once that I had to put this off for awhile.
So, you were correct about the pressure. I didn't have everything sealed and that was the first problem. After I got everything setup correctly the pump did...
Hi, thank you for trying to help!
So in the picture I don't have the tube attached, but I have the ball valve going back to the bucket actually.
Here's a link to the exact Pressure pump I purchased: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J6694R2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Hi there!
I decided to use your model as a guide to build my own. I thought I bought the correct pump but my 1/4" tubing didn't fit perfectly like yours so I purchased two 1/4 to 3/4 adapter. These arrived and didn't work. For some reason the 1/4" tubing is smaller than the 1/4" hole on the...
I'm getting ready to add a little 'free-range' setup on the side of his cage.
Just going to hang a plant from a long hook and attach something inbetween to keep him from climbing up. Then install a screen net below in case he falls.
Hopefully it works out!
Thanks!
I forget all the plant names but we made sure to research them before purchasing. Here's a picture or two. I should note that i'll be removing all of those hydroton rocks and replacing them with a thick coat of peat moss.
Yeah, the lights are only on that schedule now to help the...
I've planted a ton of plants since these pictures were taken and they seem to love the lights (which i have on a 16hr time schedule as of now to encourage growth.
You'll notice I created metal casing to protect the inside light from water (and to absorb some of the heat). I then super-glued...
