    Veiled Chameleons are known for eating dirt,bark, rocks and leaves, it helps with their digestive system much like a dog eating grass..so long as it's clean without pesticides and such you should be just fine. It's how they are...nothing wrong. Found this online not sure how helpful it is.

    Checking the reviews of many repti breeze mesh cages sold at Northampton reptiles many people have given it a 5 star review for thier chemelons so mabye only a few people experience problems with it.

    Just checked it the enclosure with the back sides covered and just the top and front door for ventilation seems so good. That might work for keeping in heat and humidity.
