Hmmmm.... I suggest a vet visit. Im not sure he had what I thought now. He should have bounced back from Conjunctivitis by now.... Unless it was a real bad case. Its good he is still hanging in there....But I would seek profesional help before he gets too weak...

I think this is the best idea!! I hear people all the time putting chams in there showers. I for 1 dont want my cham drinking all that chlorine and tap water crap..... & if you add hot water into the mix its even worse if you have an electric water heater,, its full of heavy metals too!!! I...

My tv is in view of my chams cage too....Although its not real close. Its usually not on during the day...I have noticed my chams prefered sleeping spot is tucked away behind some large artificial plant leaves towards the back,,so any light from the room or other areas dont bother him;)

Yeah... Me too. I went thru more than 3. Got all the top brands, none of them said the same thing ever. I broke down & bought an expensive cigar hygormeter and tested the Zoo Med double gauges.... I had 3 of those. Guess what? all 3 said the same within a degree or 2;) and matched the expensive...

I agree.... Plant bulbs are no problem.... The guy only asked about the old UVB compacts and what the illness was with them;)

These bulbs can vary ALOT new with thier output.... It may well be too close. I recommend a Solar Meter to every cham owner!;)

Photo Kerato Conjunctivitis...... Your cham can still get it if you over exposure him to uvb. Once you see the symptoms and you change the bulb it will go away. This wont or shouldnt happen with plant bulbs;)

Just saw some photos of an Ambilobe that looked identical, even had the u shaped bar. At least the captions said Ambilobe........ Heck!!! Who knows anymore!:confused:
