Yeah he did have a bubble ont he otuside of his mouth. We didn't get to open it...I'll do that first thing in the morning when he wakes up (as he is sleeping now)
Well it was so hot and humid last week, and this past week is gradually got cooler, but nothing too drastic. This is the first time I saw this, and now he's back to being normal. I haven't heard him gasping for air or anything, I just walked in and saw some spit hanging there.
So El Chamino, today, was drooling. I walked in and he had a nbig spit bubble, and ten is popped and it was drooling and such. It look thick and sticky.
Any help?
He's 8oz. She didn't measure him, but I wills ometime soon.
All we have to do is put ointment in his eyes because he keeps them closed a little too much.
:-)
We also, actually, learned that if he hisses when we get close it's okay...we haven't handled him yet because he hisses at us...
So we took El Chamino to the vet today. Disappointment is around.
1) He is perfectly healthy.
2) He is only 6 months old, Petsmart sold him to us for $200 because he was an "adult."
Guhhhh

My cham is pretty much sleeping all day...he usually wakes up somewhere around 9am, but it's 11:50 and he's still sleeping.
He is easy to wake up at this point, my misting woke him up, and when I put his crickets into the cage he woke up as well.
What should I do?
I do
I just turned it on for a good 2 hours to try and cool down the room the cham is in.
The temp in here is down now, which is good...and it's good to knwo i can turn off his basking lamp.\
He appears to be sleeping, but his colour is his "awake colour." He normally turns very green...
He's about a year. Maybe a lilttle less. The petstore just gave us an estimate (go figure).
To cool him down, what do you suggest I do? I do mist with warm water for five minutes, it gets the leaves all nice and dripping.
His eyes might be just a tad sunken today, I assume the hot weather...
There is a bit of orange, yes.
Humidity: 45%
Basking temperature: 35C (95F)
It has been super hot and super humid here the past few days. It's gone up to 38C (100.4F) with 61% humidity and higher. Today it's 38C (100.4F) and 66% humidity. His basking temp obviously goes up with the heat...
