Well done!! I'm so happy that Kevin is getting better :) I know they very warming feeling when you see them go from bad to better, it's rly enjoyable :)
Good job mate, you're doing a wonderful job :)
I also picked up a batch of those crickets this Friday. I didn't notice it until I got home, and I must say I was rly suprised over their antennas :D They are fast and speedy as hell and jump pretty high
I just made a new gutload containing:
Mango
Sweet potato
Carrots
Apples
Oranges
Roman lettuce
Already the seconde day I saw that all the crickets went all mad, fast as h*ll, jumps all over the place and Sheldon seems to love them :D I know this is common stuff to use but I've never used Mango...
Don't got a pic of it but can describe it.
- 6$ wooden table (very sturdy) from IKEA.
- Drilled a hole through the cage bottom and the table.
- Putted a piece of tubing in the hole so the table won't soak the water.
- Putted a bucket under.
And that's it :)
You could try to drip water slowly infront of him and see if he want's it. The other way is to give it to him direcly into his mouth with a syringe (w/o needle ofc.) But you should see a vet before you try that since it's easy to do it wrong. You don't want to get the water into the windpipes.
I second that!
What you can at home first of all is to give him a shower, just as Xeonic said. Remember, do not shower in directly, point it into all wall, feel the distance so the water ain't hiting the plant/ your chamelon to hard. With this you will give him a nice re-hydration and he...
Oh sounds great, they are both awesome and very cool looking :) Thinking about getting an Ambanja myself lol.
It could be that he's in a trafficed area. Hard to tell since it also could be the temp, changing colours to attract heat and vice versa.
I know it's hard to not watch them, I figure...
Hi! Congratz to your little guy, they are a joy to take care of :)
Panthers can handle the higher temp pretty good, but imo 87 it's a bit to high for panther that young, I would try to lower it.
What kind of panther is your baby? :) Chameleons that young dosen't show much of colours...
I'm so sorry to hear that he's not getting better Male :( Pothos catch alot of water on the leafs, do you think the poop could have been laying in some water and in that way get "runny"?
How much of the liquid d3 calcium are giving him each time? I was told to give Sheldon 0,03ml ONCE a day...
Hi Male, how's he doing? I'm happy to tell you that my Sheldon looks alot better, got a nice and sturdy grip and well coordinated :) Are you free ranging his food or cup feeding?
You're doing a great job and hat off cause all the time, money and effort you are giving him! Don't blame yourself...
Hi guys, some of you have probably been reading and maybe even following my threads about my panther Sheldon. First of all I want to thanks everyone for all the support and help, would probably never been able to go through with it with out you. :)
Now to the point. Sheldon seems to get...
You're doing a great job, keep it up! If your cham isn't giving up, neither should you! I been down in the dumps just like you and was really close to give him up. But I really love him and want to see him back on track again, I even cried like 2-3 times cause this is killing me and hearth...
Thanks you guys. I would say he's got some better control than he did for some time ago.
Yes this is the fuy who bited his own tail, only happened one time though. I guess all I can do atm is to keep giving him food and water and keep taking care of him as I've been doing since the start :-\...

Here's a few pic. Sorry I corrected you. I now see some small spots on the plants, but the one you saw is still from the powder. I live in Sweden and we got really high quality water, and I know that there's still alot of people who use tap water and have been doing...
I just got him new linear lights about 3 weeks ago so they should atleast do something good. The spots you saw is not from water. They are from the calcium powder when I dusted ff's when I just got him. When I had dusted them I had to shake them out on the plants from the cup and sometimes there...
They don't know. They said i looked like cramps, but I just think it was the frist days cause he got freaked out. They gave me some d3 drops, I try to give it but it's rly hard cause he get all freaked out and angry. I've tried to inject into the feeders some times too.
