Update, she stopped digging yesterday afternoon and hasn't done any since. Still not eating though so hoping she starts again today. Otherwise, should we try another oxytocin jab tomorrow? She had one in July but nothing happened but definitely seems more ready this time?
I agree it's smaller than id like, and looks even smaller in the pic. It's the mid size of her 4 areas in her viv that she could choose though. She has a full sand/soil bank down a whole side that she's dug in before (back in June!) And 2 plant pots which are smaller. If we can get her through...
So far just a massive hole, no eggs. (She's gone to bed so I had a peek in the lay bin). This was a lot more full amd smooth on the surface. Now looks like shes had a mini digger in there! Keeling everything crossed she lays in the next 24-48hrs. Im ready and waiting with gut loaded food and...
SHE'S DIGGING!!!!!!!!!!! I'm literally crying with excitement and fear right now. She stopped eating 2 days ago, has done a very weird poo this morning and is currently digging a massive hole!!!!
Trust me, resist!! They're beautiful but very challenging. We've just cancelled our 2 week holiday because of this scenario with our girl. Its not fair to ask someone else to watch her or for her regular handler (me) to leave her right now 🤦♀️

Hi everyone,
Heres my baby girl this morning. Youll see shes now displaying full gravid colours. We did a thing! It was suggested to us that she may be holding on to her eggs because she knew of the male in the room. She wanted them fertilised. So we watched her behaviour very carefully...
Aw thank you. She is beautiful. I fell for her the second I saw her. But she's so confusing! She was digging and gaining weight back in June. The xray was July 26th, a couple of weeks after she stopped digging. They looked fully formed in the pic and that was 5 weeks ago now. She wasn't eating...
That's what I was expecting, the black and pink colourings. But she didn't. She went a lovely warm Peach colour and walked toward him. No defensive displays at all. She's defo not looking any thinner. I'll put some more pics up in a sec. Even her head/cask is bulging slightly like she's...
Honestly, I don't know either! I'm so confused. She's looking so good though. Eating well, very active, good feaces etc. But she's still huge around her belly. You can actually see egg shaped bulges near her back end. She's 61g now (was 51g when she was xrayed). I can't see any signs of eggs...
Hey all, need your help again please! So my girl still hasn't laid her blooming eggs. But she's looking really healthy. Furthermore, she was constantly trying to look out below the paper cover on her viv, so we've taken one side off. She is not hiding, not dark in colour, not acting shy or...
Hi, she's actually quite active again at the mo. Waking up between 7.30-8.30am and going to bed between 6.30 - 7.30 (lights are on 7.30 - 7.30). She's eating lots and feaces are looking healthy. The xray was 26th July, following concern that she'd stopped digging a couple of weeks before that...
Hi all, I haven't posted for a while so thought I'd give an update. Still no eggs! She's still looking really healthy, no signs of distress or issues. Here are some pics of her today...confusing or what?! 🤯🤷♀️
Oh wow how awful.
I'd like to think my girl is being kept in good conditions. Shes been happy n healthy until this. We've only had her 4mths but she came to us as her first owners at a young age from a reptile centre.
In the xray the eggs look to be the correct oval shape. I can't see any...
She's still eating, drinking, basking etc. She can climb confidently, maybe a bit slower than usual. Going to bed a bit earlier and climbing out of her sleeping area a bit later than she used to though. And she does spend lots of time in darker colours than she used to too. I'm not sure what...
Oh wow ok, she's definitely a panther and I'm certain her mouth used to be more pink than yellow, but good to know this isn't necessarily something else to worry about! Here's a pic of her this morning. Just climbing out from where she sleeps and the white by her nose is left over shed from the...
Hiya, she's covered up atm but when I feed her tomorrow morning I'll take some pics. She's active, no signs of reduced mobility. Eyes are still proud. Feaces was good today, urate was white and healthy. And she was quite light in colour earlier today, as opposed to very dark as she's been more...
